MY BEACHWEAR EDIT
Out of all the places I’ve ticked off of my bucket list so far, I’ve never come across beaches like the ones in the Maldives. One of my favourite things (of many) about Rangali Island, is that there are so many beaches you can explore, and walking on the sand in The Maldives literally feels like walking on powder. It makes exploring all that much more fun.
I wore this outfit whilst on my way to the Sunset BBQ dinner (one of my favourite nights at Conrad), and it was just loose enough for me to stuff my face with lobster and not feel too uncomfortable.
I always find packing for a destination like the Maldives quite simple, I never seem to have one of those ‘I don’t know what to wear’ moments because there’s absolutely no dress code, shoes aren’t an obligation, your hair is already done thanks to the salt from the sea, and of course it’s the perfect excuse to go make up free and feel fantastic whilst doing so.
If you’re planning a sunny, tropical destination such as this, I’d highly recommend going via the casual route when packing. The last thing on your mind is styling and trust me when I say, you will spend half your time undressed enjoying all of the elements! I hope you enjoy my mini edit of fail-safe beachwear options below.
