THE COTSWOLDS/ STYLE
By Reem Kanj / Location: Thyme House
I hate to pick favourites, but if I had to, Autumn would go down as my all time fave season. I’ve said it before, but it’s worth repeating, London is at it’s best when the weather gets cooler. Styling becomes instantly more fun, our knitwear collections get an update, and everything around us becomes just that little bit more scenic.
Right now, all of the leaves are the perfect hue of orange and yellow, the mist in the air makes splurging on some new cashmere feel, oh-so worth it and trips to the countryside become just as exciting as a getaway to the Maldives.
I had the most visually pleasing couple of days in the Cotswolds a couple of weeks ago as a guest at Thyme House on behalf of Olympus to discover their brand new E-PL8. I’ve been eyeing up their compact cameras for a while and after finally getting a chance to test one out myself, I now know what all the fuss is about and why pretty much every blogger has made it their go-to piece of equipment. With the right lens, the images, I was able to capture are just as good as what I can create on my 5D Mark III and thanks to being WiFi enabled, it makes shooting for Instagram in low light super easy.
I can’t wait to share more from my country getaway with you soon, but for now here are a few images of a misty morning at Thyme House.
