BRIDE TO BE
By Reem Kanj / Photography Carrie
Being a bride to be is a very unique experience, but alongside all of the excitement, there’s a small influx of stress, anxiety and confusion that can make the journey to your wedding day just a little bit daunting.
So, I think I speak on behalf of brides to be everywhere when I say that a little help goes a long way.
You all know I’m already a huge fan of Bicester Village, the array of high end designer outlet stores have me going back all the time, but lately my visits have been centered around their bridal related events.
Over the past couple of weeks I’ve attended a brunch with Brides Magazine in conversation with Amanda Wakeley, as well as a flower workshop with the wonderfully talented Nikki Tibbles.
But besides these delightful afternoons talking everything wedding related with the experts, there’s still a huge amount of bridal appropriate shopping to be made in the stores. I particularly fell in love with the offerings from Temperley London and Rupert Sanderson.
Bridal Month is on until March 20th. In collaboration with Bicester Village.
Nikki Tibbles / Wild At Heart
One activity I particularly enjoyed was the flower workshop hosted by none other than Nikki Tibbles, the woman behind Wild at Heart, which is probably the most Instagram famous floristry in London.
Her florals get snapped by fans (including myself) and passers-by outside of Liberty so often and learning a thing or two as well as having the pleasure of getting some advice for my own floral scheme was such a treat.
During the workshop we watched as centerpieces and bridal bouquet’s were created by her team, before giving it a go ourselves.
