Inside the Royal Palm Marrakech

Walking into the lobby of Royal Palm Marrakech for the first time, set the tone for my entire stay at the hotel. I was instantly awestruck at just how rich, vast and incredibly comforting my surroundings were.

As the lovely concierge checked us in, me and Jenai took a load off and waiting on what can only be described as “the most comfortable chairs in the world”.

From the sunken bath tubs in our suite to the custom made rugs, carpets and hugely welcoming velvet sofa’s, the contemporary design aesthetic combined with the evident spirit of authentic Moroccan and Berber design, created a beautiful energy and atmosphere all around us.

One of my favourite design aspects in the architecture was the synergy between outdoor and indoor. The vast open spaces were filled with cacti and foliage, and the natural light would bounce off the rich colours all around us, emphasising the beautiful backdrop of the Atlas Mountains, surrounding golf courses and lakes.

Special thanks to Royal Palm Marrakech for the hospitality.
