WHAT TO BUY

It’s that time of year where all your favourite knits, boots and hats come out to play again and I’m the first to admit that although I hate being cold, I love dressing for it. So the novelty of Autumn coming around usually lasts a while, until I get caught in a wind trap with no umbrella on a rainy day.
But until then, it’s an excuse to shop for some wardrobe updates and sneak in a few extra cheat days thanks to the layers that will hide the evidence.
Creating the perfect Fall wardrobe for me starts with a good transeasonal jacket, and this season I fell in love with this suede biker one. A good tip is to buy your jackets a couple of sizes too big so you can layer with knits underneath and not feel too snug. Opting for a colour way that’s a little more Autumnal is always a good idea too.
I love the idea of carrying a clutch for an effortless and easy going look, especially when you’re all cosy and styled in oversized layers and I’ve been using my Baraboux E6 to death recently as it is the perfect everyday clutch with compartments for all my cards, and big enough to fit my phone and various other necessitates.
Just remember that when purchasing for new seasons, opting for classics is always a better idea so they last all the way through to the next season. Focus on going on trend with smaller investments like scarves and accessories.
