VENETIAN

This is a bit of an embarrassing start to a post. You may notice iPhone pictures instead of the usual quality you’d find on Five Five Fabulous, but I have managed to loose an entire memory card of images from my Summer trip to Venice as well as my stay at the beautiful, JW Marriott, so on this occasion, please enjoy my VSCO edited iPhone pictures and bare in mind, they by no means justify how beautiful the resort it.

The hotel is one of the most visually beautiful I have stayed at, set on an island of over 40 acres of gardens, olive groves and fruit arbours and arriving into the lobby by speed boat certainly set the right tone for my experience.  I enjoyed a unique take on accommodation in one of the four options available to guests. As well as a main hotel building, there are rooms with private gardens, patios and pools and plenty of relaxation and tranquility in the form of a very appealing spa and many pools.

I was only a guest for two short nights (and had a packed itinerary to keep me busy) but it’s safe to say that the JW Marriott Venice Resort & Spa is high on my list for one of those hotels, you just have to visit. It’s certainly hard to argue with waking up on a hot Summer’s day to a private patio overlooking a quaint church and acres of beautiful gardens in front of you.

Special thanks to the JW Marriott for the hospitality.
