Earlier this week Reem and I headed to the Harvey Nichols Fifth Floor Café to enjoy a delicious breakfast with a friend of ours on the terrace. All in a bid to feed our new obsession for earning points on the Harvey Nichols rewards programme, which we are now addicted to.
Instead of a card (which I would probably loose in about three days anyway), I downloaded the app to my iPhone (you can also download for Android here), and started accumulating points after shopping in store and online as well as from the restaurants and purchasing food and groceries from the Food Hall. Once you earn enough points, every three months you’re given a reward and have an option to choose from so many freebies, I’m currently working my way towards a massage, but I also wouldn’t mind some vouchers too.
Reem and I love being loyal to key brands that we enjoy shopping with and it’s so nice to have some love given back to you, so this app is more than welcomed. I’ve been using it non-stop during my trip to London and I’m secretly jealous that Reem will soon beat my points and hit a higher tier to me once I head back to Dubai, but that’s all good as I know she’ll have to have me as her plus one for the next ‘dinner for two’ she redeems.
If you haven’t seen the campaign video for the app yet, stop what you’re doing right now and watch it, we’re obsessed with the simplicity behind it. To see the lengths some people go to for a freebie is insane. Let’s just all take Harvey Nichols’ advice and stick to the app instead, I don’t think they make Givenchy handcuffs, or maybe they do?
Ok, back to my online shopping.
