PARIS / STYLE
By Reem Kanj / Photography Natalya Kanj
Being in Paris with so many photogenic locations makes it difficult to resist the temptation to dress up and capture the moment. Natalya and I were in an Uber on our way to lunch on a very grey and windy day during our recent trip, and the minute we got over the Ponts Alexandre III I had an instant need to get out and just shoot.
I was battling the elements, even though it was July and supposed to be Summer, but I feel like the grey backdrop was the perfect contrast to this beautiful, fresh skirt by Nora Al Shaikh.
I’ve quickly fallen in love with the Riyadh-based designer’s aesthetic, for me it’s the perfect blend of feminine and cool, making ‘dress up’ moments that much easier to get my head around.
Speaking of Nora Al Shaikh, for all our LA based readers, the brand will be hosting a trunk show at Decades (8214 Melrose Avenue) on August 3rd between 12-4pm. I so wish I could be in LA shopping in Decades, have fun for me.
