PARIS / HOTEL

There are only a few cities in the world where I feel truly at home. London, obviously. Dubai, my beloved second home and finally, Paris. It was only a couple of years ago that I visited Paris for the very first time (what better excuse then to be attending my first Elie Saab Couture show?) and since then, I’ve been lucky enough to visit Paris every few months for work, fashion week and the odd few days to just chill out and enjoy.
A couple of weeks ago I visited Paris for the final time in 2014 for a meeting at L’Oréal HQ, but I booked in an extra day to catch up with the lovely Carin and spend some time at one of my favourite hotels, Prince de Galles to get some work done in their beautiful Mosaic Suite. There’s nothing more relaxing then working from your pyjamas with an extra energy nudge via some freshly baked pastries. Later, Carin and I enjoyed a lengthy lunch at their gourmet restaurant La Scène which was a culinary experience to say the least.
