BEAUTY / MAKE-UP

I’ve never really considered myself to be a make-up person. I got into it quite late in the game, and only really started wearing it on a daily basis in my early twenties. Even now I like to have at least two or three days a week where I wear no make-up whatsoever, and this is when working from your home becomes an advantage.
However lately, I’ve gotten a little more into it and have started experimenting with my look and what type of products suit me best. I’ve decided that for me, eye make-up is a must, so for both day and night I have specific routines for the look I achieve and have collaborated with Bobbi Brown to bring you my smokey eye looks using their new Smokey Nudes collection.
My process is super simple, after applying what I need to my face and cheeks, I prep the eye area with a primer and set the lid with a base colour. Here I’ve used a blend of Naked for the outside of my eye and Woodrose towards the corners before applying the Kajal liner with a subtle flick. I finish off my look with a few licks of mascara in black. For the day I tend to avoid putting eyeliner in my water line as I prefer to have a more subtle look, but this totally depends on your personal style. This smokey eye look goes really well with a pink or nude lip. Here I’m wearing a creamy matte lipstick in Light Heather.
