If you follow me over on Instagram then you may have noticed that a few weeks ago I was going a little crazy over the cherry blossoms which have popped up all over Sake No Hana. The stunning display, created by renowned florist Veevers Carter, will be there until May 19th so there’s still time for you to enjoy the sakura inspired menu and experience.
The Sakura Crystal Double Bento Box (£28) is served with a miso soup starter, the first layer of the box contains seven-spice chicken kuwayaki and spring salad with sesame dressing. The second sushi layer comprises of salmon avocado, spicy tuna and California rolls, as well as chu-toro and salmon sashimi.
For dessert we indulged in both the Sakura Palet D’or (£8), a cherry-chocolate dessert with fresh cherries and cherry blossom tea ice-cream made from the leaves of cherry blossom trees, as well as the delicious Cherry Blossom Macaroons (£1.60 each or 5 for £7).
I fully recommend lunch at Sake no Hana on a regular day, but I especially recommend trying this Sakura Bento Box experience before it ends!
