No Dress Code

December 18, 2013

I love it when I can dress for no dress code. My outfits for grabbing a coffee and running errands in my hood (East London) are generally of the more simplistic kind. Skinny jeans, probably J Brand or Rag & Bone, a loose fitting tee, T by Alexander Wang and LNA are favourites, and just enough layers and outerwear to keep you from freezing in between Instagram updates and market stall browsing. Of course comfort is the core of this easy going look so it’s always sneakers or flat boots, and in keeping with the tradition of no-effort-Wednesday, a cosy beanie to disguise the bed head underneath with just a lick of mascara on the lashes.

Match with an easy going attitude and lots of time to stroll through Spitalfields and you’re good to go. If anything, today is the kind of day to gain enough steps on your Nike FuelBand that you end up reaching your goal by the time you’ve strolled home.
